A BRIEF EXPLANATION OF CAWS & CI/SfB CODES

We have used the CI/SfB (Construction Index/Samarbetskommittén för Byggnadsfrâgor) form of classification, which has been an accepted system for architects when analysing the products used in the building process. In order to relate the products to Specification clauses, we have also used CAWS (The Common Arrangement of Work Sections), which through NBS (National Building Specification) & NES (National Engineering Specification) is used by Architects and Engineers, both Civil/Structural, Mechanical and Electrical.
